Title VI Notice to the Public
Spokane Area Jewish Family Services hereby gives public notice that it is its policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person in the United States of America shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which SAJFS receives federal financial assistance.
Any person who believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color or national origin by Spokane Area Jewish Family Services may file a Title VI complaint by completing and submitting SAJFS’ Title VI Complaint form. The form must be completed for SAJFS to investigate. Spokane Area Jewish Family Services does not investigate complaints received more than one hundred eighty (180) days after the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
Please contact the Executive Director at (509) 747-7394 or director@sajfs.org to arrange a meeting with a language translator to assist you in completing the Title VI complaint form.
